Small Stream Says No

Despite reaching above freezing, it was hard going on my local trout stream, this day.

Stream says no

Fishing is closed

Open water

Some wild trout, mostly stocked with catchable size &
fingerling size trout.

Colder than shit

This used to be a nice riffle and plunge pool
Variety. Spice? No.
Still life with nothing

Better
See you in May.

    I'm glad you asked that Question, Steve. I have an article in the works that answers that question, and many other unique questions hitherto unexplored in the angling/defecating by the river literature.
